Thanks to all who came to the Humane society fundraiser.

I just wanted to say thanks to all those that came out to the Utah Humane society fund raiser. We were able to raise like a 1000.00 for the center. It was a great turn out and I went home with an extra family member. Yes, my wife decided that our daughter needed a kitten. So, a little guy was adopted and now "Mittens" is a new member of our house. Again thank you all and additional pictures from the event will be posted in the Online ordering category on Monday the 20th. Deseret News stopped by too and wrote a small bit on the event. Here is the link. Take care everybody, Scott

New Fundraiser program for www.Worldvision.org

I have decided that 50% of all of my website stock photography sales will be forwarded to World Vision. They are a non profit organization that fights against poverty and disease in third world countries around the globe. It does seem that times are hard and the economy is not great but it is in these times of hardship that those without anything are hit the worst. There are over 600 million children living at an extreme poverty level and we need to help. So that is what I have decided. Please check out their website if you feel like donating. They are very reputable and you can be reassured that your donation goes to those in need and not lost into misappropriated funds. Also check out this video, it will shed some light on the reality blocked out by our own world of living.

Spring and Summer are finally here all rolled into one!

Well we are on the back end of spring and quickly rolling into summer. I am excited to announce that there will be a doggy day event being held at the Humane society in Murray, Utah on July 13th. This would be a great opportunity for any one with a dog that wants a portrait to get one for a steal. All you need to do is donate 25 dollars to the Utah humane society on July 13th and you will get a free shoot and free 8x10 of your dog free of charge. It will be right there on the spot that day, the shoot and the photo will be done at their building. This is a fundraiser to help support the humane society in its future endeavors. When the economy falls apart like it has the first places to get hit hard are the non profit organizations. That is why I have volunteered to spend a day of my time raising money for them to help them out. I am expecting a huge turn out as there are going to be a few press releases on the event as well and slots are limited. So if you are interested please contact Carrie Glavin at the humane society to ask her about the details. It should be posted on their website soon. I hope to see you and your doggy there. Take care, Scott

Attention Seniors

Hey Seniors,
Just a note, my schedule is filling up FAST! So don't procrastinate any longer if you are needing senior photos. We are getting booked up fast and there are only so many hours in a day so the rest of the school year I am limited on the amount of shoots I can do. I have been getting a lot more appointments scheduled so just a reminder to call in now to schedule yours so you can make sure you will get a slot. Thanks again for all your interest and if I haven't returned your messages within a day after you leaving them please call back, I am returning them as they come. Thank you! Scott Gianchetta

Ruffledales!

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Ruffledales, TeAnna. What a great person! And her business is a shining example of her personality and love for animals. I walked into Ruffledales to speak with her about hanging some images in her store and felt like I was walking into one of C.M. Coolidges oil paintings. You know the ones where the dogs are hanging out playing poker and stuff? Ruffledales dogs weren't playing poker, but they were kicking it on some leather sofas and a tile coffee table. It was quite an amazing scene. Anyway, if you love to spoil your dog that is the place to do it. They are treated like royalty there and that is about the best you can expect for your furry friends. Also they now have some AMAZING images hanging on their walls as well so check them out while you are there pampering your dog. Also, if you don't do business there and are thinking of trying it out, Go in and ask for one of my Photobox cards. If you receive one from Ruffledales and bring it in for your pets portrait you will get a 20 dollar gift card to Ruffledales! Awesome, right? So get over there and pamper your dog. Get them in a great mood and I will be waiting with my camera to photograph them smiling once they leave Ruffledales groomed and shining! Talk to ya later, Scott
